Curriculum
This year we are running a weekly interchange programme to use our teams strengths and develop students organisational skills for High School.
Mrs Hann will be taking Music, Mrs Batchelor Dance and Drama, Mrs Sheppard Te Reo and Mrs Cherry Geography. As in previous years Mrs Muirson will be taking all classes for Art on Thursdays.
Our senior students are role models around the school we trust that they will make the right choices regarding behaviour and reflect the values of the Ashgrove Stars (Service, Trust, Attitude, Respect and Responsibility and Sustainability).
Technology
Rooms 16 and 17 are attending Rangiora Borough on Wednesdays for Technology for Semester 1. Rooms 14 and 15 will attend Technology in Terms 3 and 4.
Reminders
Remember to keep an eye on the fortnightly bulletin. It will keep you up to date with what is going on.
It is important to remind students of the uniform requirements for Ashgrove School. In particular, make up (lip gloss), skate shoes and jewellery are an ongoing issue.
Finally, we are looking forward to a productive and exciting term that has a strong focus on building secure relationships and developing students self-awareness and self-confidence.
Thank you from the Senior Learning Team
