Description of school

Welcome to Ashgrove School.  We are proud to introduce you to our learning centre where we provide a quality education for students' age 5 years to 13 years old.

When you make the choice to come to Ashgrove School you can be sure that your child and family will join a school community that is a very caring and supportive one.

At Ashgrove we continue to foster strong values to ensure our students are prepared well for the coming years in a world that is constantly changing.  The curriculum programmes offered our students are also at the forefront of learning and teaching in New Zealand.

The North West side of Rangiora is a popular area to live with many families choosing to enrol their children at Ashgrove.  The Ministry of Education imposed a school zone which means that only those families residing with in the zone can enrol their children. This practice ensures sufficient space and resourcing for our learners to receive a quality Education.

On Ashgrove School site we have an Allenvale Satellite unit that caters for students that require an adapted learning programme because their learning progress is generally not at the same level as mainstreamed children.

At Ashgrove our Vision isGrowing together for Success.  We place a high importance on the School Values and the School Learning Model.  By the time our students have reached Year 8 we want them to be Confident, Collaborative and Creative young people ready for the next educational learning adventure.

There is a strong sense of partnership with our parents and community working together for our children.

The staff are an amazing group of people who are passionate about their work, keeping up with the latest professional development and constantly pursuing opportunities to be the best they can be.

We warmly invite visitors to come along and meet our friendly staff and children.
