School Zone Information
All students who live
within the home zone described below, shall be entitled to enrol at the school:
ZONE:
The boundary to the North is south of the Ashley River.
The boundary to the East
is eastern side of Golf Links Road from its commencement south of the Ashley
River to its intersection with Kippenberger Avenue.
The boundary to the South
is from the intersection of Lehmans and Oxford Roads east along the north side
of Oxford Road to its intersection with West Belt, then north along the western
side of West Belt to its intersection with Blackett Street, then east along the
south side of Blackett Street to its end at the railway line, then over the
railway line continuing east on the
south side of Keir Street until its
intersection with East Belt then south along the east side of East Belt until
its intersection with Kippenburger Avenue, then east along the north side of
Kippenburger Avenue to its intersection with Golf Links Road.
The boundary to the West
is the east side of Lehmans Road from its commencement south of the Ashley River
to its intersection with Oxford Road.
Proof of residence within
the home zone will be required.
Each year, applications for
enrolment in the following year from in-zone students will be sought by a date
which will be published in a daily or community newspaper circulating in the
area served by the school. This will enable the board to assess the number of
places which can be made available to students who live outside the home zone.
