Welcome to our school.

Nestled in urban North West Rangiora, Ashgrove continues its well earned reputation as a great place to learn, both for children and the wider school community.

All Ashgrove stakeholders share a common mission -  To provide a quality education in a positive environment which encourages learning for life

The Ashgrove School Board of Trustees has a mix of both new and experienced Trustees. With the election process completed in November 2011 the BOT now has two new parent trustees joining the existing four parent trustees.

The Board has a full workload as we work through the many issues facing schools today, from finances to property, National standards to ICT and Health and Safety to communication, to name just a few.  The Boards primary focus is on Governance, including strategic planning for the next 3 to 5 years.  The BOT endeavours to provide the necessary building blocks to ensure we fully support our Principal and staff in their day to day management of all the schools activities.

As a Board of Trustees we would like to acknowledge and thank the Ashgrove PTA, who work tirelessly to raise additional funds towards special projects enhancing the school environment. With an ongoing growing list of many and varied calls on our finances, Ashgrove simply could not function as well without the PTAs hard work and generous assistance.  It would be appreciated by all if you can maintain the support of the PTA in their efforts wherever you can so the great work they do can be continued and the extras we desire to enhance our children's education can be purchased.
